RDP session will not trigger EAPOL
Hello, I have an 802.1x enabled network and when I try to connect to to a Windows 7 supplicant (with user and machine authentication enabled) using RDP, it logs the existing user out, reauthenticates the machine and then allows me to log in without triggering an EAPOL packet. When I authenticate locally, I see the machine and user authentication work just fine.

Hi, Thanks for the post! In Windows Vista, it is a known issue that RDP and 802.1x are not working together. 802.1x cannot determine the user’s identity when coming in via RDP. This design seems not change in Windows 7. As a workaround, please use machine-only authentication.
