Random loss of wireless connection
I am running Windows XP Home Edottion Version 2002 Service Pack 3. And recently it has been randomly loseing connection(icon on taskbar turns from blue to red). I try to use the "Repair" option but doesn't work and try to find signal, but can't find any at all(and there are at least 4-6 normally it can find). Device mngr says net card is working without any isssues, and I am able to accesss the control panel for the card but it is not working and if I try to access the driver for the card it says no card installed. So it contradicts itself. Have replaced net card to newer modle and even replace the new one with a replacement because tech assitance for card couldn't figure it out either so they just said exchange it and that failed also, no change. I am really at wits end here and don't know where or what to check next any assistance be very helpful. Oh 1 last item to get the connection working again I have to reboot then it work fine for random amount time then same thing happens .Don't know if any of this is helpful but here it is: Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : your-at5qgaac3z Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No Ethernet adapter Trailer: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : RangeMax(tm) NEXT Wireless Adapter WN311B #2 Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 30-46-9A-8C-E6-91 Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.17 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1 DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 24.205.192.61 24.205.224.36 68.116.46.115 Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Sunday, September 26, 2010 6:25:33 AM Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Sunday, September 26, 2010 7:25:33 AM Tunnel adapter Automatic Tunneling Pseudo-Interface: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Automatic Tunneling Pseudo-Interface Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : C0-A8-00-11 Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : fe80::5efe:192.168.0.17%2 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : fec0:0:0:ffff::1%1 fec0:0:0:ffff::2%1 fec0:0:0:ffff::3%1 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled 1 person needs an answerI do too
