Remote Assistance:__
How can I connect to remote assistance? We've done everything and the invitation file has been modified with the ip address according to kb921047 and there are no firewalls that are active. keep getting the message, "attempting to connect" but nothing happens. One pc is running xp home and the other is running xp pro.1 person got this answerI do too

Use TeamViewer instead. It is free for personal use and extremely easy. The Helper downloads/installs the full Support program (small) and the Helpee just downloads the Quick Support program. No installation is necessary for the Helpee. They just need to double-click on the TeamViewerQS.exe file and read the Helper an ID number and password.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
