Remote connection stopped from one computer but works on others to the target
OS Version is W7 Pro What is weird, is remote login stopped working from one computer. It gives the error 1)remote access to the server is not enabled 2)the remote computer is turned off 3)The remote computer is not available on the network however, other computers can log into the target. In addition, I have vm(virtual Machines) on this problem computer running XP Pro, and they can log into the target. Everything worked last week. Could a patch of broke this?

Hi, Firstly, as you suspect there may be updates which caused the issue, please check what the recent installed updates are and let us know. Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please check if ping between the target computer and the Windows 7 Professional computer works; just for a test, please check if the Windows 7 computer can access the share folder on the target computer. 2. Please also check if this computer can establish RDP connection to other computers. 3. Check if it works in clean boot: How to perform a clean boot to troubleshoot a problem in Windows 8, Windows 7, or Windows Vista http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 Meanwhile, regarding troubleshooting RDP connection issue, please refer to the following article: Why cant I connect using Remote Desktop Connection? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/why-can-t-i-connect-using-remote-desktop-connection Thanks.
