Hello everyone. So here is my situation. My ASUS K55 has a dead motherboard that needs replacing. I know that the COA for Window 8 is embedded in BIOS, because there are no more stickers like before. If I buy another EXACT model motherboard, then load Windows 8 ISO, will the operating system activate properly? Thanks.

If it is OEM (install by computer maker) auto validation will probably fail.  You may have to phone activate.  There is a tool you can get the embedded key here  https://neosmart.net/blog/2014/windows-10-embedded-product-key-tool/
