Hi,
try run invoke-csmanagementstorereplication to force the replication. Also, try restarting the replication Agent service in the server.
I ran the Invoke-CsManagementStoreReplication to force the replication.
SQL Server is an Enterprise Edition Deployment
As per my understanding, When our backend server is an Enterprise Edition that do not have a local configuration store and do not participate in the replication process.
But it is appearing in the Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus
Recently Deploying Monitoring reports happened, which may create this issue.
I was looking in the topology if the Backend (SQL) Server should be N/A instead of that it is showing as Red Cross
Actually when i run the command Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus in the Output Backend (SQL) Server is coming, but previously it didn't came.
Can Someone help me in fixing this issue.
The last change was deployment of Monitoring Re
For the record, Lync 2013 does have a local copy of the database in it's local SQL Express edition. can you post a snapshot of the topology here?
Currently we have all Lync 2010 Servers
What's the latest CU installed in those Lync Servers? re run the database update component of the latest CU which was installed. This will fix if there's any stored procedure related errors in the Database.
do you see any events in the event viewer of any Front End servers related to this SQL server?
Latest CU is 4.0.7577.216 which is CU8
When i ran Get-CsServerVersion it gave me
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 (4.0.7577.0): Volume license key installed.
On that SQL Server, i can see the event id: 913
Could not find database ID 12. Database may not be activated yet or may be in transition. Reissue the query once the database is available. If you do not think this error is due to a database that is transitioning its state and this error continues to occur, contact your primary support provider. Please have available for review the Microsoft SQL Server error log and any additional information relevant to the circumstances when the error occurred.
seems to me that something's going on with the Database server. Try to setup a down time and restart the SQL Service on that server and see if that error message goes away.
As mentioned earlier, may be after deployment of monitoring server reports. This replication issue might have started. May be as you said restart of SQL Services may fix this
On that Backend Server (SQL) restarting the below services may fix the issue of Red Cross from the Topology & it should go away from the output result of Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus
SQL Full text Filter Daemon Launcher
SQL Server
SQL Server Agent
SQL Server Browser
SQL Server VSS Writer
Is there any way to fix the Replication from False to N/A instead of taking downtime & Restarting of the SQL Services.
Agent and the SQL Server would do. Go ahead with it and let us know.
Replication status of Lync Backend Server (SQL) is showing false
In the Lync Topology from Lync Control Panel, the Replication Status is Red Cross for the Back End SQL Server
Can some one help me in fixing this replication issue.
When i run Get-CsManagementStoreReplicationStatus, i receive below update
UpToDate: False
ReplicaFQDN: SQLServerName
