I succeeded in downloading 2 Gigs of the iso using Firefox 3 ( 3 pauses and restarts insigated by me). When it failed to restart yesterday I tried the same link with Explorer 7 which installed active X Akamai setup and resumed OK. My wife shut the PC down last night and now I cannot get a restart with anything - it appears to think I have downloaded nothing although the download file still exists. How do I force a restart without losing the existing 2Gig?

You may not be able to restart the download without losing that 2 gigs. Sometimes resume won't work, especially if you've started the download in two different browsers already. Have you had any more success downloading Windows 7 RC since you posted this thread? -Nick
