I am recieveing a 1521 error when trying yo use roaming profiles on vista. The error says permission denited but the user account has full control and ownership of the folder. Thnaks

I have the same problem with windows vista getting a profilefrom windows 2003 server.For some reasoni can connect to the networkbut i can't download the profile. iget this message from the event viewer.Please someone help me. I had exactly the same error and after looking through various error logs and settings finally found a couple of things that worked. Firstly i had my profile path in AD set as \\servername\profileshare\%username\ and when vista was loading up it changed to \\servername\profileshare\%username\.V2 which was inaccessible. By removing the additional \ at the end i no longer got any errors in the event log but still got a message saying the profile had failed to load. I then had to delete the users profile entries in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList Once removed i rebooted and the profiles are no loading fine.
