Runtime error DLLHost.exe / COM Surrogate doesn't function anymore
Using fast user switching I often get an error when I open an Explorer window or an Explorer-based window like system preferences:
"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error! Program: c:\Wondows\SysWOW64\DllHost.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"
This is usually followed by an error message:
"COM Surrogate
Com Surrogate doesn't function any more"
Explorer shows only the right panel. The tree view in the left panel doesn't work. If I try to click to expand the tree, I get a very slow green progress bar in the address bar which never finishes.
System preferences is empty (also with the green bar) and all file dialogues are broken (most folders are greyed out when I try to save data). I need a reboot to get the system functioning again.Occasionally Explorer stops working without any error message. In this case all opened windows stay blank (only reboot helps).When one of the above occurs, I'm not able to log off or shut down. Shut down hangs with random disk access for ages (I was waiting >10min).
Is there anything I can do about this? Or is it just a beta problem?

This is the Intel I263 codec. Remove this codec from your Windows to fix the crash."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/
