SSD and Large Network Xfers causing BSODs
I had a 250GB Hard Drive on my VAIO and installed Windows 7. Then proceeded to copy my iTunes (4GB) and Download Emails from Exchange (1GB). No issues. Last week, replaced my HD with an Intel X-25 80GB SSD and Windows Installed fine. But then, when I tried copying files from iTunes, I got a BSOD after some time. Even with Outlook downloading emails, I got BSOD. I then switched to Vista x64 and same issues. I submitted the reports through Feedback Tool. My next guess was that maybe the SSD is bad so I proceeded with Vista installation and everything hasbeen working great. No crashes whatsoever. However, Vista feels a bit slower than Windows 7 and of course doesnt look as good. Has anybody else experienced any such thing?

Not had this experience yet, but I am not sure if I have been able to set up a similar set of conditions. I havethe same disk X25-M 80gb.One thing to do: Intel have a firmware update process on thier website http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=17485and even though my disk just came this week from the supplier, it still did not have the latest firmware. I am guessing that keeping SSD firmware up to datewill be more critical than it is for regular disks.Mitch
