SSLKEYLOGFILE for Windows Store

Hello,

I am facing download problems with the Windows Store. I am using a proxy. I can see a Filestream from the server, but the applications quits the download with the error code 0x8020002e.

There is some TLS encrypted communication, which is good and wanted. But I would like to analyze it for solving purpose. There is a way to read the SSL Key from Firefox and Chrome with the global variable SSLKEYLOGFILE (you can find more information about it here (https://isc.sans.edu/forums/diary/Psst+Your+Browser+Knows+All+Your+Secrets/16415) and here (https://jimshaver.net/2015/02/11/decrypting-tls-browser-traffic-with-wireshark-the-easy-way/)). I tested the global variable in Windows, but there is only a key transaction from a webbrowser. Not from the store.

Do you know any way to extract this SSL key from the webstore? This would be incredibly helpfull.

Best
Ben

Hi BenSec,

"But I am still looking for an answer of my original question"

The only option I can figure out related to the key is the "Sync Licenses" option included in the first link I have posted before.

Considering you are using the proxy server ,here is a link may be useful :
Using authenticated proxy servers together with Windows 8

If it is possible ,please try to download the windows store apps without the proxy server .This will help us to verify whether this issue is caused by the proxy server .

Best regards
