Safeguard nowhere to be found
Hi, I'm running a machine with Windows 7 professional (dutch) build 7600. I want to use the "set up safeguard" function under user account management but there is no option "set up safeguard". I only have the standard functions like parental controls, change account type,... I can't find any solution for thist, must be a build specific problem. The accounts that I'm trying to protect with safeguard are standard user accounts and I'm the computer administrator. Regards, YMaod

From what I can find, it was removed from the RTM version. It certainly does not exist in my Pro version either.Rich Why can't I be different and original like everybody else? - Vivian Stanshal

Why was it removed? It sure was usefull... I tried installing steadystate instead but it isn't supported under windows 7. Does anybody know an alternative?

Well that sucks... I can't uninstall steadystate because "disk protection is enabled". When steadystate is opened disk protection is disabled. I tried stopping the steadystate service manually but that didn't do the trick...
