Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Not Found under Network in Win7, 64-bit
I just got the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet which runs only on wi-fi. It gets its signal from my router (connected to my Win7 desktop) no problem. However, when I click NETWORK in Windows Explorer, the Tab is not discoverable for some reason. "Add a wireless device" turns up nothing. I can connect WIRED, having gotten the Samsung Win7 driver, but I would like to connect wirelessly to my desktop (to possibly be able to use the non-networked printer connected to it). Ideas on how to add this device to my home network? Thanks, Edgar

Since the Galaxy is not a Microsoft product, but a Samsung product, you need to contact Samsumg and find out more about the capabilities of the Galaxy. I doubt nayone here can answer questions about why Windows cannot see the Galaxy over a wireless connection. Did you read the manual that came with your Galaxy? Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Edgar, you came to a fine place to ask questions. And here is your answer. Go to the Samsung site and get yourself a driver at http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/GT-P7510UWYXAR Now folks will have some useful information and not get hated on.
