Save credentials button
I have Windows 7 Enterprise, "Save credentials" button is disable (it is on 802.1X settings, Specify authentication mode), I think it is disable because of my group policy setting, please somebody help me to make enable by modifying the setting in group policy or Windows registry. Thank very much in advance Kourosh

Hi Kourosh, Firstly, I would like to verify whether all the options of the Specify authentication mode are unable to select "Save credentials" or not? You can also capture a screenshot to clear the issue. How to capture a screenshot ====================== 1. When the message pops up, please press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard. 2. Click the "Start" Button, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3. In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste". Then click the "File" menu, and click "Save". 4. The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5. Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click "Desktop" on the left pane and then click "Save". Also, please understand that only this option User authentication could save the credentials. Hope this helps.Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support

Hi, Before going any further, I would like to confirm whether this computer is in domain or not. Please understand that some settings may blocked by the server site. If your network administrators has already blocked it, you need to contact them for help. Also run cmd as administrator, input gpresult /h gpreport, then upload the report to your SkyDrive in a public folder. Regards Vincent Wang TechNet Community Support
