One of the Windows 7 32 Bit Operating system, FEP 2010 client, scan is running more than once everyday. Schedule Scan settings are normal. How this can be stopped.

Does the scan runs as a schedule everyday? You could check the Task Scheduler(Under Microsoft > Microsoft Antimalware) to see if there is any abnormal.

Also check event viewer and see what are the events during time of scanning?

I have checked the task Task Scheduler. It is defined to run on everyday 2AM. My doubt is if the system is shutdwon state whether scan will run again in the same day

Hi Boopathi,

You can verify below highlighted settings, which may cause system to start quick scan, when option is "YES", you can set it "NO" meanwhile and check.
