Schedule Backups in Win 7 Pro
I would like to have 2 scheduled backups in Win 7 Professional. One would perform a daily backup to an external USB drive. The other would perform a weekly backup to a networked drive. Can Windows Backup schedule 2 independent backup jobs?Windows 7 RC dual booting with VISTA Home Premium 2 GB memory 160 HD Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection

This address a single back for files. I am look to schedule multiple backups for files and a disk image to different locations on different days. The best would be the ability to save backups to two different locations in the same backup job, but that does not seem to be possible.Windows 7 RC dual booting with VISTA Home Premium 2 GB memory 160 HD Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection

Hi blegs,The built-in backup feature of windows7 is to address a single backup from a specified file location(local or remote share). I'm afraid this is the expect behavior for current backup operation. Multiple files location will not be addressed by this backup setting. Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.

Sorry to hear it, but thanks for the quick reply. Maybe in a future upgrade..........? I guess I can make my changes before I run the backup, but it would be a nice feature.Windows 7 Professional RTM dual booting with Windows 7 RC (using RC to test Office 2010 in a test environment) 2 GB memory 160 HD Networked Gateway Laptop HP Officejet 6310 All-in One inkjet printer Verizon FIOS Internet Connection
