I'm wondering if anyone elce has experienced this. I have to continually reset my screen saver. I have the screen saver set on a windows 7 screen saver, and the screen saver comes on fine, the problem is when I reboot after shutting laptop down, the screen saver is turned off, so I have to go back into screen saver settings and select the screen saver again and click apply, and then once again after a reboot, the settings are not saved and it defaults to (none) in the screen saver settings. I think this is a bug win 7 ??

Hi, I would like to suggest: 1. Try setting another Screensaver for a test and see if it reverts to the default setting after rebooting. 2. Update all device drivers to the latest version, especially the video driver. 3. Perform a Clean Boot and see if the issue persists. 4. Create a new user profile and check if it occurs the same. I don't know whats going on but it seems as though the problem is fixed. I've checked the screen saver settings now for 2 days after re booting and they are still selected on the screen saver I want. Thanks for the help!
