Seagate Freeagent go USB External hard Drive not properly working because windows cannot load the driver required for this device (code 31)
I need help here.
I have an HP 530 laptop which i upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate.
Bought a new Seagate FreeAgen Go 500GB external drive and its not working. Keeps geeting the error code 31 (Device not properly working because windows cannot load the driver required for this device (code 31))
Tried the Device on a system running Win Vista and it works perfectly.
What do i do.

You need to load the chipset drivers for your computer, but HP doesn't support Windows 7 on that model (yet).
