Search in Preview pane
Hi,
Based on my test, there might be no workaround to search in preview pane, it just can preview files, such as HTML, text files, XML files, images without any additional software installed, but we should open files with associated programs to
perform search action.Alex Zhao

Hi all,
Is it possible to perform search by some keyword in Preview pane?
For example, I would like to quickly see some stored .html document, and quickly find some keyword without opening of this document in IE.
Thanks!

Configure Search to include searching for contents:
In Windows Explorer, go to the Folder Options, in the Search Tab under the "What to search" box, choose "Always search file names and contents (this might take several minutes)."Regards,

Thank you for answer, but this solution isn't work. This option is choosed already in my system, but it don't help.
When I perform search in indexed documents, the system highlight keywords in document's details in left pane, but I don't see a way to perform search in Preview Pane. Ctrl-F or F3 keys don't work there. Please notice - I need to have search just in Preview
pane.
Thanks.
P.S.: I tried it on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012.
