Security Options for Hotmail (once offered Standard or High Security)
Last year and into this year, in signing onto Hotmail an option was provided for Standard or High Security. I do not recall any notice of what the definitions of "Standard" or "High Security" consisted of or that the option had been removed. Please provide:1) an explanation of what the difference between the two are in terms of used technologies (e.g., is Microsoft using SSL by default between the browser and their servers?) and,2) what has happened to that option and what is the current level of protection for in/out bound e-mail through Microsoft's hotmail and to other e-mail services?Thank you.1 person needs an answerI do too
