Security issue
hi i would like to disable the
IRDP (ICMP Router Discovery Protocol)
on my unit i tried to modifiy this key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
PerformRouterDiscovery - value does not exist
to dword 0 without succes
I need also to disable the
IP Source Routing
i'm on windows 7 64 bits hope you can help

Hi ,
Run the registry editor (regedit.exe) and browse to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Add a DWORD value named "PerformRouterDiscovery", and set it to 0. Windows must be rebooted for the change to take effect.
Before modify the registry keys, please take a backup of the key. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry,
