I have tried downloading a serv pac update 7 times. I have my virus stuff off, I have downloaded mr fixit, i have downloaded some other thing hot something or another and now i can't even check to see if updates are available. What's going on??

Look into file WindowsUpdate.log in c:\Windows folder. Read this file from the bottom up and find errors. Either find solution for these errors by Google search or place here what you has found. Also look for errors and warnings in Event logs. Regards Milos

Hi, Firstly, please let us know what application did you use to download it. Can you download other .exe files properly? Meanwhile, please try to run Internet Explorer and browse Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932). If you run 32-bit Windows 7, please download windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe. I have done fitit and hotfix, virus software is off, still can not download the serv pack? same errors as above. What else can I do. This is day three! What's next? A MAC? Google Chrome??
