Set up home network on a Vista computer. Added my XP computer to the network.  I can get on the internet but signal strength is "very low" 98% of the time.
I used a d-link WBR-1310 wireless G router to set up the network on my Vista computer. On my XP computer, I used a d-link WUA-1340 wireless G USB 2.0 adapter. The two computers are only one room apart and most of the time, the doors are open so there is no major obstructions to interfere with the signal. This is my first experience at setting up a network and I have to admit that I was a little unsure of myself. I do not know if I have some of the settings wrong or if the problem could be something else. It is a WEP secured network but I don't think that is where the problem is. My XP computer signs onto the network automatically as soon as it boots up. I am in the process of downloading the LLTP Responder from Microsoft on my XP, but I don't know yet if that could be the problem. I have been battling with this issue for almost 4 weeks and I am becoming very frustrated. PLEASE, I WELCOME ANYONE WITH AN IDEA OF WHAT I MAY HAVE DONE WRONG, TO RESPOND!! 1 person got this answerI do too

I'm sorry, but I've read your message and I don't understand what the problem is that you want to solve. Is something not working right? If so, please give us the details: what you're trying to do, what happens when you do it, the text of any error messages, etc.
