Hello,I was wondering how to set-up a PC to be viewed on my Mac's Finder "Shared" area? I just set-up W7 and I need to move files over to the PC.

Can you look at other threads on this subject? eg "Windows 7 to access data on Mac OS shares."For a lot of data (50Gb plus), I used a firewire with FILEZILLA and FTP file sharing.The procedure went something like this:Install FILEZILLA on the PC.Turn off Wifi on both computersEnable the Firewire protocol on each computer.Enable FTP file sharingNo need to know IP addresses or anything like that.Connect the cable.Re-boot both computers.Open Filezilla on the PC.Log on to the Mac at <computername .local> and use your logon name and password.Hope to see both computers listed.Drag files across from one to the other.Hope this helps.
