Short calls and Diagnostic ID 24024

Hi,

I'm a french student (sorry for my english) and I'm studying Lync 2010 which is deployed in the company where I'm in work placement

Some people are sometimes experiencing a curious behavior in audio conversations : when an interlocutor calls, they don't hear anything and they need to call back the interlocutor in order to have the conversation

I had a look on User Activity Report in Monitoring Server Reports of Lync and also studied the SessionDetails table in LcsCDR database to identify concerned calls (difference between ResponseTime and SessionEndTime is generally lower than 5 seconds)

Concerned calls have often the following Diagnostic ID : 24024

But I don't know what this ID means ?

Can anyone help about this ID ?

Thx a lot

Nicolas

I find something but not very sure on MSDN (Unified communications managed API)

And so it would be : Call termination because of a successful transfer.

But "Transfer mode" is not activated neither used on concerned calls ...

Did this issue happen to internal users or external users?

Please provide more information about the ID: 24024.

Please check the event view on your Front End Server to find any related errors.

Try to update your Lync Server 2010 and Lync 2010 to the latest version.

Hi and thx for you reply

This issue only happen to internal users, it also only concerns incoming calls.

The diagnostic ID is not the only one, I have also this one :

10027 : Normal termination response from gateway after the call was established

Response groups are set as follows :

A vocal server which permit to the caller to choose between 3 choices : COMMERCIAL, LOGISTIC, RECEPTION

1.1) if caller says COMMERCIAL, it rings on the first response group named COMMERCIAL N1 that includes 2 persons

1.2) if no one of the previous response group takes the call until 15 seconds, it rings on a second response group named COMMERCIAL N2 that includes 3 persons

1.3) if no one of the previous response group takes the call until 15 seconds, the call is transfered to the RECEPTION

2.1) if caller says LOGISTIC, it rings on the a response group named LOGISTIC that includes 5 persons

2.2) if no one of the previous response group takes the call until 15 seconds, the call is transfered to the RECEPTION

3.1) if caller says RECEPTION, it rings on a response group named RECEPTION

3.2) if no one of the previous response group takes the call until 59 seconds, the call is abandoned

I have asked to concerned users to give information as soon as they receiving abnormal calls.

I have identified them in User Activity Report but did not find any common point between these calls.

Users are receiving calls with 2 kinds of ip phone : POLYCOM CX600 and SNOM 821

Is there an incompatibility with firmware or something else ?

I'm totally lost, which option do you suggest ?

Thx a lot !
