Hi

When I start Win 8.1 I get an error saying than SkyDrive cannot connect to internet, error  0x800c0005

But after Metro UI appears I can browse my SkyDrive

Any ideas ?

Hi,

Error means there is a firewall between the computer and the Internet that does not allow HTTPS (SSL) connections.

Lets temporarily disable Windows firewall and security software to check if that helps.

Also, please try to restore windows features:

Please make sure to run CMD as Administrator:

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
