Slow IE launch when proxy configured
We use proxies here at work, and starting IE is usually an instantaneous affair. If a user is off the network and connected to say a hotel lan to connect via VPN, starting IE when not connected via VPN often takes a while, presumably while IE tries to resolve the proxy address. Is there anyway to set via policy, someway for IE to bypass looking for a proxy when its not connected to the work lan?

Hi, When the machine is not in a Work LAN, I suggest you use automatic proxy. When the machine is in a Work LAN, you can switch to a static proxy. For more information, please refer to the following article: Using Automatic Configuration, Automatic Proxy, and Automatic Detection Thanks, Novak
