I have Windows XP SP3, my computer has been running slow lately (5 year old computer).I recently installed Internet Explorer 8, it still running good after the installation.Now it starts reletively OK (slow as usual) but I cant access any of my files or my hard drives !!WhenI try to open a file like ''My Documents'' on my desktop, all the icons disappear (only the desktop wallpaper is visible) and then after a couple of seconds all the icons reapear one by one, but the file i wanted to open is still not opened !!I'm stuck !!! I cant open files, cant access my drives, cant uninstall any programs,... but everything alse is functional, i can access the internet, e-mail, run programs but it is slower than usual ... even for my 5 year old computer.I have tried to defrag, clean & reinstall Explorer 7, but nothing !Can anyone help !!thank you1 person needs an answerI do too
