Slow domain logon times over wireless
We are a school district and have several different wireless systems in difference buildings but we're starting to use more and more wireless devices. We're seeing really long logon times 5+ min when connected on wireless but no delay at all on wired
connections. Is there a fix for this? Like I said we have various wireless systems so its not related to any specific one or type of wireless dev

There are the obvious things to check like interference, channel overlap, capacity, etc. We need to know what you have done to troubleshoot, and more about the setup to be of any use. Are these wifi devices all funneled into the same router or are
there segment switches? Are these devices "G", "N", or "AC"? the list is endless

We have several schools all using different wireless vendors. Cisco, Extreme, Ruckus etc. Different ares of each building etc. The commonality only seems to be wireless and domain logon. If I go to a building and boot up one device it logs on fine but
if 30 are pulled off a cart and try and login at the same time the logins take 5+ min. Same scenario if I plug them into the LAN no problems. And on the wireless once they do finally login they all get good speeds and I even tried having 30 of them streaming
youtube vids at the same time. Its just the domain logon thats taking longer then it should. We use roaming profiles buy the sizes are restricted so its not like the students are all downloading 5G files to their desktop at each login.
