I tried this fix. Rebooted the PC and reinstalled printer drivers from HP website. In the middle of the HP install a message informs me that spoolsv is missing again.Wow is this frustrating, no way to spend a Friday evening.

Tried this and it did not solve my problem. Again I reboot and the spoolsv.exe is not seen in task manager. Business day three on Monday that I can't print from this PC. Guess I am going to have to pay someone. It would be really nice if MS had real-time support included in the cost of buying their products. McAfee and Dell are not perfect, but at least I can talk to someone in India, which makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. (sorry - small venting)

Try uninstalling the printer software from add remove programs in control panel, if there is anything.Go to printers and faxes and delete the printerUnplug your printer from the pcDownload the software for the printer (try another driver if possible) and save to your desktop (dont run it yet). Even if you already have this on your machine it may be corrupt.RebootDisconnect your internet cableTurn off McAfeeInstall the newly downloaded software, if prompted during install plug in the printer (you should try a different usb port if that is how you are connecting it)Try printing, if successful turn McAfee back on and connect your internet cableIf this does not work, what model is the hp printer and what driver package are you installing?

This also did not fix the problem. Wish it had.I know you are trying to help. I need to find another resource. This is beginning to remind me of auto mechanics who just replace parts until the car is fixed.

Upload C:\DOCUME~1\jlwentz\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER2ccf.dir00\spoolsv.exe.mdmp to your SkyDrive for analysis and provide a link to the dump. It may not be conclusive since P4 is unknown. That means the faulting module is unknown. But, it looks like a DEP-related access violation is crashing the process.

If you have a Windows Live account (used to sign into these forums) you should have a SkyDrive. Check athttp://skydrive.live.com.
