Spooler Subsystem App stopped working, gettingcrash
AFter installing win 7, i experiences a problem with spooler. They keep crashing and never work. I found this as suggestion from some guys, http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/919750/ , but i cannot rename that as it says. I need permission to do that, and when i change my permission to full control.. they said access is denied. Now im stuck @@ Anyone has any solution for these?

Have you tried to take ownership of the file? This is how to do it from the M3 build (My Beta 1 system is down ATM)Ensure that the Print Spooler Service is stoppedTry to rename it - if it still doesn't work, then do the next stuffNavigate to the spoolsv.exe file in the Windows\System 32 subfolderRight click on the file and select Properties,Then select the Security tabThen select the Advanced buttonThen click the Owner tabThen click the Edit buttonThen click on your accountThen click on the Apply buttonClick OK on the confirmation dialog that pops upThen click on OK to exit all the dialogs.I'm unsure of the effect that this will have on other users - so be prepared to go back in and change the Owner to the Administrators group. With the service stopped and having taken ownership it should be a simple matter to rename the file. - John
