Standard/Limited/Guest Users do not have network access.
Hello, This topic was raised in another thread (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/lv-LV/w7itpronetworking/thread/238238c2-ad9e-482c-9a30-706773f556c4) but I do not want to hijack the other user's question. The standard and guest accounts on my system (Windows 7 x64 Ultimate) do not have network connectivity when the administrator is not logged on. For example, if the system is rebooted and the first user to log in is not the administrator, that user will not have Internet access. This problem can be fixed by logging in as the administrator and then "switching users" (leaving the admin logged in). I have downloaded the latest drivers for my mother board and network card but this did not solve the problem. I have seen numerous posts on the Internet that are directed to this problem, but I have seen no known solutions. Help! N

Hi, Please run the network troubleshooting and let me know the result. If any Security software or firewall is running, temporary uninstalling them to check the result. If the issue persists, please boot in Safe Mode with networking using the Standard User account.
