Strange Network problem...
I have something strange. My Laptop (Core2Duo, 2Gb Memory, 320 GB HDD) has Realtek RTL8168C lan card, and it used to work perfectly in my home, as well as office. In both the places, I have D-Link GLB 802C ADSL Router. Just 3-4 months back, it stopped working in my office, but it continued to work at my home. I purchased one USB Ethernet Device, and the problem was solved. However, after 20-25 days, that one stopped working as well. Then, I upgraded my ADSL Router to NOKIA SIEMENS ROUTER, and my laptop was able to connect using wi-fi. However, it was still not connecting with wires, using same router. After working for a month or so, it stopped connecting to my office network, using wi-fi as well. However, it still connects to home network using cat5 cable, and other wi-fi networks, everywhere (except office). Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

What happens if you reset your office routers and switches (just power them down /maybe disconnect from power source and afterwards power them up)? Does that help? What happens if you give your laptop a static ip-address (best set in alternate configuration under properties of the TCP/IPvX protocol, to not interfere with other networks)? Wolfgang
