Sync Center - File Location (Server Location Moved)
I have a foler on Always Available Offline folder on "Server1" and we are replacing "server1" with "Server2". I have removed the Available Offline for "Server1" location the moved the data from "Server1" to "Server2" and made Available Offline. Here are the following issues I am running into. "Server1" location still appears in Sync Center. Sync Center always says Sync Pending, but "Server2" files are available Offline. There is a delay on access to any drive. Local or Offline Files. Using My Computer or from with softwares. Is there a command, function or program I need to run inorder to clean up my Sync Partnerships The previous command "CSCCMD.exe" would do a move of the sync location in Window XP. Is there an equivilant command for Windows 7? This Cleaned out the old server locationfrom the cache; however, it did not correct any of the other issues. Still have offline files available after resyncing. Have a ~15 second delay when offline trying to access any drive locations. Any time sync is selected - Sync Pending is displayed and never seems to stop. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Have disabled offline files and made sure that the drive access delay is caused by offline files. This appears to be the case

I'm seeing the same issue. I have Windows 7 machines in a SBS 2003 environment. My Doc Redirection is enabled via a GPO to pre-existing roaming profile accounts. After 2 reboots the system automatically created the user's "My Document" folder on the server share but it does not copy over any existing data that was stored in the user's "My Document" folder prior to the GPO change. I can however save a new file from the Windows 7 machine into "My documents" and see it appear on the server share. On the Windows 7 machine the GPo has correctly removed "My Documents" from the user profile folder structure. Browsing to "My Documents" does show all the old files. However none of the old files are synced back to the server even though when you right click on them it showed the path to the server share. Going to Sync center and hitting Sync sets it to "Sync Pending". But a sync does not occur. If I manually copy all the files out of My Documents onto the user's desktop for example, and then copy them back into "My Documents" then they are saved on the server share. However new changes do not get updated back to the server. and the "Sync Pending" issue persists.

You may refer the following article to reinitialize the offline files cache. On a Windows Vista-based client computer, you can still access offline files even though the file server is removed from the network This article is also applied for Windows 7.Arthur Xie - MSFT
