Since updating Win 8 to 8.1 Media player will no long recognise my Mobile Sony Z1 the computer and other programs recognise the device except Media player. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Drivers on Mobile are up to date. Why is this happening I AM FRUSTRATED TO SAY THE LEAST! Help Please.

Make sure that the device is on MS Hardware Compatibility list and you use correct drivers.

I recommend to contact Sony support forum for help as this is device/vendor dependent problem.
