Synchronize file location
I use the "Synchronize" feature in Vista to have access to offline copies of files I use on our office server when I'm on the road and not connected to our server. I also dual-boot a RC of Windows 7 on this laptop and would like acces to these offline files while running Win7. Perhaps I could do so if I knew where Vista stores the local copies of these files on the Vista partition. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Even better would be if I could somehow point the "Synchronize" feature in Win7 to point to the same location used by Vista and thus I would always be synched whether I'm using Vista or Win7.

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet Forum. Generally, the default Offline Files cache location is C:\Windows\csc. For your requirements, to visit files in this folder from Windows 7, you may need to have permissions on this folder in Windows 7. I recommend that you take ownership of this folder. By the way, you can move the Offline Files Cache to the same location from Windows Vista and Windows 7.
