I use the "Synchronize" feature in Vista to have access to offline copies of files I use on our office server when I'm on the road and not connected to our server. I also dual-boot a RC of Windows 7 on this laptop and would like acces to these offline files while running Win7. Perhaps I could do so if I knew where Vista stores the local copies of these files on the Vista partition. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Even better would be if I could somehow point the "Synchronize" feature in Win7 to point to the same location used by Vista and thus I would always be synched whether I'm using Vista or Win7.

For your requirements, to visit files in this folder from Windows 7, you may need to have permissions on this folder in Windows 7. I recommend that you take ownership of this folder.
