Synchronize web favourites between Windows 7 clients in a WorkGroup/HomeGroup
I'm not quite sure if I'm asking this questionin the correct forum, perhaps a kind mod could move if required.I have a home network comprising 4 PCs running Windows 7 professional and a WHS with PP2. I have setup the workgroups and Win 7 homegroups and everything works spot on, marvellous in fact (would be nice if WHS supported homegroups though). Question is, what is the best way to automatically (bit like IMAP for email) sync web favourites between the same user accounts on the various clients? I understand this is possible using Windows Live Toolbar however I prefer not to use Windows Live since I don't really know that much about it (yes, I know, I need to get up to date with this technology not quite sure why I haven't done this thus far) can this be achieved using workgroups, homegroups or my WHS?I just don't believe how well my home network is functioning right now, absolutely fantastic, Windows 7 installs were a breeze even though one of the PCs is a 4 year old laptop.....very well done Microsoft!!Thanks in advance.

You can redirect the folder Favorites for your user account on every computers to a shared location. After doing so, all the Favorites folder on computers will sync based on this shared folder. To redirect the folder, right-click on the Favorites folder in the folder of your profile, and choose Properties. Click the Location tab, and enter the correct location. You need to set the same location for your user profile on all computers.Arthur Xie - MSFT
