Press F8 when booting for the Windows menu and select Safe Mode with Command Prompt. Once it's up, type in %systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe and press Enter. This will bring up the System Restore GUI, allowing you to restore to an earlier date. There are a number of things that could be preventing it from running from within Windows, including third-party firewalls and anti-virus programs. If it still doesn't work when running it as described above, post back with any error messages you may be getting. SC Tom
