I'M RUNNING WIN7 RC AND MY COMPUTER IS SHUTDOWN BY ITSELF, MY UNDERSTANDING WAS THAT THIS ISSUE WAS TO START HAPPENING IN MARCH 2010, I ALREADY ORDER WIN7, BUT I WILL GET IT WHEN AVAILABLE, WHY IS THIS HAPPENING NOW?

No, bi-hourly shutdowns for Beta start July 1st, 2009. 2010 is deadline for RC . P.S.: Your caps lock key is broken ;)Regards, Kristaps. P.S.: Epic shoop is epic.

This can also be caused by a hardware event, such as CPU overtemp or fan failure.Check the System Event Log for an event 6008 Error from the EventLog saying that the previous shutdown was unexpected, from about the time it shutdown. This would indicate it was not shut down by Windows. If there is no 6008 event, look for other Errors and Warnings prior to the time it shutdown, in both the Application and System logs.To open the Event Viewer, go to Control Panel\Administrative Tools. And quit shouting.
