T30 Laptop - no wireless
I have a old T30 type 2367-84U laptop with .5gig memory. All is working in Windows 7 except the wireless ! I downloaded the driver from Lenovo website, it sounds like a Cisco Wireless LAN Mini PCI card. Anyway, Windows 7 would not install it, so I ran it manually in XP comparability mode, it installed (something did) told me I need to reboot, I did but still the network adapter is not recognized! MY Ethernet port is working fine (its a Intek interface and Windows 7 was able to get frivers for that). So, what to do? The Wireless portion was working fine in windows, its slower then the current "g" versions but for home (lap) use, it was plenty fast. So far I'm liking Windows 7, if we can get the wireless issue resloved, it would be fantastic, seems to run just as well as XP, no complaints so far. Thanks, Macpete
