TMG ISP Redundancy

We have one isp which is configured with multiple ip addresses. We now need to move over to a new isp in 3 months time. I have configured tmg with the isp redundancy option.

The new isp has assigned a number of ip addresses we can use. Can you have multiple ip addresses on the second isp in tmg? I have configured the network card with the additional ip addresses but it only appears to listen on the the first ip address. On the primary isp its able to listen on all ip addresses.

We have a website which I want it to listen on one of the new ip addresses

What do you need to do to get the secondary nic/isp to listen on the additional ip addresses?

Hi,

Which mode you configured?

ISP-R in TMG has two operating modes Load Balancing and Failover. In Load Balancing mode, connections are balanced between two external networks evenly (by default) or unevenly (configurable by the administrator). If either external connection goes down, all communication will be sent over the remaining available connection. In Failover mode, one external network is configured as the primary connection, and the other is configured as the secondary connection. All communication is sent over the primary connection. If the primary connection goes down, all communication will be diverted to the secondary connection. Once the primary connection is available again, all communication will again be sent over the primary connection.

How can I get the website to listen on one of the additional ip addresses on the secondary isp ? It does listen on the default ip of the secondary nic/isp but we have additional ip's which I need to utilise. As previously said it listens to all ips configured on the 1st isp nic and the default ip of the secondary nic/isp but not the additional ones configured.

Can this be done?

I have configured the web listener to listen on the ip but it doesn't work.

When I monitor port 80 i see the following error message when trying to connect

a connection was abortively closed after one of the peers sent an rst packet

It would be much appreciated if someone could give me an answer on this?

It seems that your not able to use the additional ip addresses on the second nic/isp . Does anyone know if you can use the additional ips of a second isp? or is this feature not available in tmg. I want our web listener to listen on one of the additional ip's on the secondary isp.

Many Thanks.
