I have this weird matter.
My TV tuner gets full signal when working with the battery while it gets null signal when plugged in to the AC socket whenever the battery is in.
The matter is related I think to the battery saving profile.
I have an ASUS K75V with i7 - 36300QM, 2.4GHz. OS Windows 8.
I tried to set the setting of the active profile equal for "on battery" and "plugged in", copying the settings of the former to the latter, naturally. It still doesn't work. It seems that is not configurable.

Passing from working (on battery):
Process C:\Program Files\ASUS\P4G\BatteryLife.exe (process ID:2560) reset policy scheme from {512a6ac6-efc1-4441-85c9-cccf29b69cd2} to {df011ed9-9131-49b9-8090-46963cfb65ce}

To not working (plugged in):
Process C:\Program Files\ASUS\P4G\BatteryLife.exe (process ID:2560) reset policy scheme from {df011ed9-9131-49b9-8090-46963cfb65ce} to {512a6ac6-efc1-4441-85c9-cccf29b69cd2}

Could you suggest any solution?

Hi,

You can check the Windows power options. Try to change the power plan for when the laptop is plugged in.
