The IE 8 address bar is illegible.
(This is the third place I've been told to post this.)If you set up a nice, non-glaring theme like this:http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1157/528235909_4cc019ddda_o.jpg IE 8's address bar becomes illegible, because it overrides the system text color but not the system background color. The result is this:http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3417/3523541574_6e3aec88ec_o.png Microsoft, please remind all engineering groups that1. Their apps and Web pages should be honoring user preferences, which includes system colors.2. When you override system colors, you can't override the text or background color without overriding both . Otherwise, you don't know that the text and background aren't the same color.3. You need to test your apps with non-inverse color schemes, which means light text on a dark background.
