The TCP/IP Network Transport is not installed.
I am getting the error message "The TCP/IP Network Transport is not installed."I have done my due diligence of research on this error and have tried everything I've come across.The list of things that haven't worked:Reinstalled TCP/IP protocolRan LSPfix and Winsock FixTried netsh winsock reset commandUninstalled the Network adapter from the device list and allowed XP to re-install it upon rebootTried to uninstall TCP/IP protocol...wouldn't let me There are probably other things I've done, but it's been a long, unsuccessful process so far and I'm getting very frustrated.If someone out there can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Milnertime, · Do you receive any error message when you try to uninstall the TCP/IP protocol?· Since when are you facing this issue?· Did you make any changes to the computer before this issue started? Step 1 You may access the link below and follow the steps in the article and check if it helps you fix the issue.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314067 Step 2 If the above step do not help, you may try to put the computer in a clean boot state and check if any third party applications is blocking TCP/IP protocol. Access the link below and follow the steps to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows XP.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353 If your issue is resolved after performing Clean Boot, then follow the steps mentioned in the following KB article to narrow down the exact source. Also, see the section on how return your computer to a Normal startup mode by following the steps under “Reset the computer to start as usual” and set it to Normal Startup. Step 3 If the above steps fail, you may try to restore the computer to an earlier date before this issue started and check if it helps.
