The laptop a few minutes after returning from hibernation my system hangs
Hello, I have a laptop that originally came with windows vista ultimate 32bit and after hibernation the system functioned normally, but after I installed windows 7 Professional ( x86 ) when resuming from hibernation a few minutes later the computer locks up ( OS , keyboard and mouse) . What can I to do to correct this problem ? Thanks !

Hi, Make sure that you have compatible drivers for the hardware on your computer. This is one of the main reasons which causes improper sleep/hibernate and which results in computer freezes. Update all the drivers for your computer especially the Mouse and Keyboard Adapters as well as the BIOS. Visit the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers. Refer the following link for more information: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly In addition, please see Sleep and hibernation: Frequently Asked Questions Regards, SimidaPlease remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
