The mouse locks up when you hold down a key.
I'm one who likes to play games, so i can play them now because i got this new laptop, its a dell inspiron with windows 7. but i have a problem, it seems whenever i hold down a key, the mouse locks up after a second, this makes it very difficult to play any game that requires a keyboard and mouse. i tried it on the desktop, and i hear the windows beep repeated very quickly when the mouse is frozen. is this a problem or is there some setting that needs changing somewhere? please help

Hi, Have you changed another mouse and keyboard to test the issue? If the issue only occurs on this one, the issue could be related to incorrect drivers. Please go to manufacture's site to load the latest drives for keyboard and mouse. Also adjust the speed of keyboard and mouse to slow to testing. If the issue occurs on any mouse and keyboard, I suggest reinstalling USB controllers to check the result. http://blogs.technet.com/b/asiasupp/archive/2010/11/23/error-message-one-of-the-usb-device-attached-to-this-computer-has-malfunctioned-and-windows-does-not-recognise-it.aspx Regards, NikiPlease remember to click "Mark as Answer" on the post that helps you, and to click "Unmark as Answer" if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
