The network password needs to be 40 bits or 104 bits depending on your network configuration.
I got a fix for connecting one of my netbooks to the internet yesterday from this threadhttp://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/xpinstall/thread/4c2688b6-247c-467a-89dd-a0c164ec4b89/on how to reconnect to the internet. When I follow the steps that LemP suggests, I get the message"The network password needs to be 40 bits or 104 bits depending on your network configuration. This can be entered as 5 or 13 ascii characters or 10 or 26 hexadecimal characters."The only thing that happened before this was that the battery died and went into hibernation mode. I was wondering if anyone could help me with what to do to get this fixed. Edit: this is an acer netbook that I'm trying to connect with.1 person got this answerI do too
