Thunderbolt drives not mounting
I have a new macbook pro with 2 Thunderbolt 2 ports and a new LaCie Thunderbolt 2 SSD Little Big Disk formatted as NTFS ( Raid0)

The SSD wont mount under Bootcamp Wiin 8.1

Fast Startup is disabled in Windows.

Why won't Windows 8.1 recognise and mount thunderbolt connected drives?

I have Paragon EXT installed to mount EXT3 drives in Win 8.1 The Paragon software can see and list the RAID 0 partitions of the Little Big Disk so we know there is a physical connection working.

I have a Caldigit RAID 0 firewire 800 drive which mounts successfully in Win 8.1 connected by a thunderbolt adapter.

The same behaviour happens under Win 8.1 on my boot camped iMac27

All disks and cables work fine in OS X.

Any updated advice appreciated.

Hi Bretthitch,

To make a device work correctly ,we need a compatible driver .Have you tried to update the driver for the device or manually download the driver for the device ?
Considering you are using a Windows 8.1 system in a Macbook with the Bootcamp,it is recommended to look for help from the Apple forum .They may have more resources to resolve the issue .
