Hi joe, 32bit operating systems are not designed to support more than 2GB. 64bit OSs will support more than 4GB memory. In your case the only option could be to upgrade Windows 7 32bit to 64bit. The upgrade process will be a clean installation, that means all the data will be gone and you will need to re-configure your computer.Regards, Enamul Is this helpful? You need to provide the exact make, model, and series of your system. The maximum for 32-bit is about 3.25GB. But, if your system has on-board video, built-in, you can lose up 1GB to be used for video memory. Contact the manufacturer of your system for correct information about your system. This is not a Windows 7 problem. This is due to manufatrer's design. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Google for a PAE Patch [1] if you're CPU/Chipset support PAE, otherwise install the 64Bit Windows.
