Touch keyboard activation

Hello,

I would like to know what is standard behaviour for touch keyboard.

We have a PC with touchscreen connected. Touch keyboard shows correctly on logon and in start (modern-UI).
It does not show, when I enter an address or search field in explorer. It is present in taskbar, but I would like it to show, when I enter address or search field.

Is it by design, or can I configure it in some way ?

Hi David,

What is your issue here?

If this is related with license activation, you may contact the local support, and if this is related with the performance, please explain the issue with more details or screenshot.

For touch screen related, you may check if the article below would help:

Best regards

Thanks for reply,

I have no activation issues.

Touch keyboard is activating correctly on logon and in modern UI like here

Tray toolbar is always present so I can activate it manually.

What is not working is automatic activation in desktop.

When I click into highlighted textbox, I expect it to show me keyboard without manual activation from tray toolbar.

Thank You for answers.

It won't.  That is a Desktop window you are showing, so you need to start the TIP manually to type there.  Alternatively you could have the OSK running and always on top and use it then.
